Shirina was born and raised in the Tyrolean Alps in Kitzbühel, Austria, having a german passport and persian roots.

She graduated in 2012 from the Music-High School in Innsbruck with parallel Soprano studies at the Tyrolean State Conservatory, where she collected her first professional experiences on stage.

In 2013 Shirina moved to Berlin to begin her drama studies at the “Filmschauspielschule Berlin”. However, after the first year she decided to move back to Austria to continue her degree at “Schauspielschule Krauss” in Vienna. She completed her Diploma with distinction in June 2017.

Already during her studies, she had several appearances on Theatre stages in Vienna and after successfully completing her degree, Shirina started immediately as the leading female role at „Theater der Jugend“ in Vienna. In total she has played over 200 shows consecutively until now.

In addition to her love for acting, she is also a professional singer. Over the past nine years she is continuously performing on stages and several events.

Beside her mother tongue German, she is fluent in English and French, due to the fact that she has spent part of her childhood in the US and in France. In her Gap Year after High School Shirina has been traveling around the world to gain a wider knowledge of different countries and their cultures.
